Tracy Grimmer
Tracy is a resident of Princeton and joined the Greenfield Board of Trustees in 2022. Tracy has been in the Banking Industry for 30 years, currently serving as VP Commercial Lending for First State Bank in Princeton. Over the years, she has developed a broad background in retail and commercial banking and enjoys building relationships while serving customer financial needs as a trusted advisor.
Tracy has served as past president of the Rotary Club of Princeton and the Gateway to the Future Foundation. In addition, she currently serves on the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Tracy and her husband Scott have 2 daughters.
Gary Bruce
Gary resides in Princeton, his hometown, where he owns and manages the third generation business, Bruce Jewelers. Gary attended Gem City College, Quincy, IL and received an Associate in Technology Degree with a major in Jewelry Store Management. Gary joined the staff of the College for a short time before returning to Princeton and the family business.
In 1973, he was granted the title of Certified Master Watchmaker. In 1979, Gary became a partner in the business and in 1987 sole owner. Gary served as President of the Illinois Jewelers Association 1989-1991. He served as a Board Member to the Perry Memorial Hospital beginning in 2003 and now serves on Princeton’s, OSF St. Clare Community Advisory Board. He is a past Council Member and served four years as Council President at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Princeton. Gary was a founding member of the Princeton High School Foundation. The School Foundation became the Princeton Public Schools Foundation where Gary completed nine years of service with seven years as Board Chair. Gary and his wife Diane have a daughter Sarah, Son-in-law, Duane and four grandchildren.
Bill Beneke
Bill has resided in Princeton since 1982, and has been a Trustee at Greenfield since 2013. He previously served as President of the Board of Trustees of the Princeton Public Library
(formerly Matson Public Library). During his 20-year tenure on the Library Board, he was involved with the bond issue and construction of the current library facility located at 698 East Peru Street. From 2003 until 2020, he was coordinator and booking agent for the Princeton Coffeehouse, an acoustic music series featuring national touring musicians. He is a member of the Bureau County Bar Association and Illinois State Bar Association, and has served as President of the Bureau County Bar Association. Bill has also served previously on the Board for Freedom House and on the Advisory Board of Prairie State Legal Services.
Before relocating to Illinois, Bill was the Executive Director of the Story County (Iowa) Legal Aid Society. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell College and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma. He is currently a partner in the firm of Russell, English, Scoma & Beneke, P.C., concentrating in the areas of real estate, tax, wills and trusts, and local government law.
Bill is the father of four children. His wife, Sallee, is a Princeton native.
Chuck Hanson
Chuck Hanson joined the Board of Trustees in 2011. He is a graduate of the University of IL with degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. Hanson has been active in the community for over 40 years. He has spent his career as Chief Financial Officer of a number of manufacturing and distribution companies. He was involved with a $40 million bond issue to fund the building of a non-profit private dormitory on the campus of the University of IL. He then served its CFO for seven years before retirement
His familiarity with buildings and the issues involving them has been helpful in the many projects at Greenfield. His background in accounting has been helpful in looking at the financial picture at Greenfield.
Tim Harris
Tim is located in Princeton, Illinois, and has been with Capital Agricultural Property Services, Inc. since October 2008.
Tim received his Accredited Farm Manager designation in 2001. He has an extensive grain and livestock background having spent 20 years in the dairy business. Tim has been active on his family farming operation for most of his career.
He became a farm manager in 1995 for a local farm management company before joining a local bank to head up their farm management business located in the trust department.
Tim received his Associates of Arts and Science (AAS) degree from Illinois Valley Community College in Agribusiness. He is an Illinois Designated Managing Broker, Iowa Real Estate
Broker, Illinois Licensed Auctioneer, Minnesota Real Estate Broker and an Accredited Farm Manager with the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. He was a member of the class of 2000 in the Illinois Ag Leadership program and served as President of the Alumni Board from 2006 to 2012. Tim is also a graduate of the Farm Bureau Agricultural Leadership of Tomorrow (ALOT) leadership program.
Currently Tim serves as President of the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and
Rural Appraisers. He serves as a Trustee for Greenfield Retirement Home in Princeton, President of the Princeton Community Band, and serves on the Princeton Fire Protection District. Tim was past President of the Princeton Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church where he served as church chair.
Tim is married to his wife Judy and they have two grown children and two grandchildren.
